Susie Merrit

Susie is a very accomplished medical esthetician who enjoys bringing her expertise to The Woodlands Plastic Surgery & MedSpa. She completed her aesthetic training at The Aveda Institute in The Woodlands and furthered her education in laser licensing through The Avante Laser School.

Her journey into skin care began 20 years ago when working in an orthodontic office. While learning the process of aging with her clients’ teeth she realized the overlap with how the face ages too. In conjunction with her regular facial treatments, she began diving deeper into the aesthetic realm. This included how to properly care for your skin and age gracefully. Her favorite quote is “The sun is not your friend”. Through this she has found the best skin care regime and how to best care for your skin.

Susie specializes in Hydrafacials, Chemical Peels, and Microneedling. She is passionate about helping her clients find the right skin care system that fits their goals. Whether it’s a client with healthy skin, someone who wants to focus on anti aging, or maybe has an unhealthy and compromised skin barrier, Susie focuses on corrective methods to help her clients become confident in their own skin.

Susie’s connection to her clients is what people rave most about when it comes to her services. Clients say it’s how she listens to your concerns and makes you feel at home in the treatment room. Susie is a mom to 3 beautiful children (6 including her children’s spouses). When Susie isn’t transforming skin, you’ll find her spending time with her 4 incredible grandchildren.
